A Heart of Gold
Sherri Marie Snyder, born March 22, 1946 in Turlock, CA passed away July 6, 2018 at the age of 72. Sherri lived a beautiful life filled with love, family and many amazing life experiences. Sherri and Pepper shared 45 years of marriage. Together they raised four children and share eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
Sherri was a talented woman with many passions in life. In her younger days, Sherri was a lead singer in a band. Knowing her spunky character, it is only fitting that Sherri was a short-lived Rockstar. As a wife and mother, Sherri shared her love of music with Pepper and her sons and daughters. She designed dance costumes for her daughters with her beloved mother-in-law, Nana. As a wife, Sherri embraced the country lifestyle she and Pepper created. Her love for animals was endless. She quickly became the animal whisperer at the Ranch who nurtured many sick animals back to health.
Sherri played a major role in Pepper’s business endeavors with Sprig Electric and Sprig Haven Farms. She devoted much of her time supporting Pepper and attending many business trips. Together they traveled many places and made a difference in the conservation of wetlands across California and the United States. Pepper and Sherri are recognized as Ducks Unlimited Heritage Sponsors and President’s Council members.
Sherri loved her family and believed in the foundation of family. Sherri was also a great friend to many. She loved to talk, but more importantly she loved to listen and support those she loved. Sherri was greatly loved by all who met her because she loved greatly. Although she will be missed tremendously, she is forever in our hearts.
