Marlene had numerous, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. And a huge family consisting of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends that she loved and adored.

Marlene resided in San Jose, California since November of 1953. She worked for the Santa Clara County Probation Department and retired in 2012.  Marlene was a devoted Christian, her faith and love for God was tremendous. Her walk in faith was an inspiring display of faith, strength and optimism. For years she belonged to a bible study group where she bonded and established lifelong friendships and sisterhood.

Marlene loved to travel, she loved the beach, room service!! And Disneyland. Her taste in music was so diverse, she loved her songs of worship, but was an assortment that ranged, from oldies from 60’s and 70’s, to Bruno Mars.

If there was one memory that was consistent with everyone she knew or even came in contact with, was her laugh and her famous “Hi” wave. She laughed so easily, and it was powerfully contagious. It would be without a doubt our beloved Marlene has everyone in heaven laughing with her.

Marlene will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.  She left us to soon and left each of us with loving memories. She had this wholehearted way she ended her prayers, and in her loving memory we say for her, “AMEN”! WE LOVE YOU MARLENE!
