Mark Stephen Lohbeck

May 24, 1966 ~ January 2, 2019 (age 52)

Mark Lohbeck was born on May 24th, 1966 in San Jose, CA. Mark spent most of his life in the Bay Area and attended Bellarmine College Preparatory.  He graduated from Chico State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance.  After working in Silicon Valley for many years, he joined his father at Lohbeck Capital Management becoming a partner a few years later.

 

Mark loved to help others and was very active in the community.  He volunteered with several local non-profit organizations throughout his life.  At his core, Mark was a man of action and would jump at the opportunity to help family members, friends, and strangers.  His acts of kindness were felt by so many.

 

Mark had a zest for life that was undeniable.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed a wide range of activities including snow skiing, snowmobiling, boating, and fishing.  He had a passion for cooking and a deep love of music and was an accomplished musician.

 

Mark passed suddenly on January 2nd. Mark’s loss is being grieved by his family Sharon and Katelyn Lohbeck, Ron and Betty Lohbeck, Amy Lohbeck as well as extended family and countless friends.

Private services have been held with the family.  Ron and Betty would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support for their son.
